I was surprised you´re commenting on boot-up issues like it´s normal behaviour and today, we musicians have to accept that because there´s stock computer gear in use,- the cheapest one b.t.w. power stabilizer and conditioner and protecting the instrument from damage by transport. I´m aware I also have to do my homework to insure this behaviour, maybe using a UPS incl. You mentioned it isn´t caused by your custom software,- so what´s wrong w/ my assumption you probably will be able to fix that ONLY by not using THIS stock computer component anymore.Īs a musician and customer, I expect to power up my musical instrument and play,- always, at any time and w/o exceptions. the embedded ATOM and the DOM drive) causes "false boot" problems and you´re sure it´s not caused by your software, I wonder how you want to fix that. In fact,- if you are aware, the motherboard (incl.

I like what you do software wise, Guido,- but I mistrust almost any stock computer hardware and Windows based software running in hardware instruments and there are reasons to do that. Seems, my post wasn´t welcome, but it´s also not my intention to be pleasing all over the place. I just push them in slightly.Īs far as the Ventilator goes, I tried it once with my Numa and decided I didn't need it for the extra 500 bucks.
#MEGA WORD MOJO MANUAL#
On this B-3 if I turn the percussion DOWN and push the drawbars IN, the lower manual bass is louder in comparison to the upper manual. I have adjustable percussion on one of my B-3s, which was installed by Scott(the Organ Freak) Hawthorn in Seattle. Some hardcore Hammond nuts may disagree with me on this. I feel it should be adjustable just like a drawbar is adjustable. Having percussion volume in edit mode is not my favorite thing. Percussion volume issues can be a real bugger going from differing systems night after night.
If I had one wish for a clone it would be a DEDICATED PERCUSSION VOLUME KNOB- instead of knobs for keyclick and leakage. I assume that Hammond Suzuki probably also gives you this option. In fact on my first clone ( a VK7) I had the ability to have percussion with adjustable volume on my presets. Would I like to see percussion on all upper manual presets? You bet. That's Brian Auger.įrom what I recall, at one time he was triggering midi on the upper manual of his Hammond and then playing his famous second harmonic percussion tone from the lower manual - with the help of a Trek II percussion unit.
As far as having percussion on a lower manual, at least one famous player we all know has that on his B-3.
